The town of Rockingham has released a RFP for the clean-up of the Bartonsville Covered bridge that landed on the bank 3/4 miles down river. According the bridge cleanup RFP “the contractor shall propose and clearly explain the method of disassembling, removing, and transporting of said wreckage in order to maximize potential salvaging of wooden bridge components – if possible.” The bids are due back to the Town of Rockingham on December 5th.
